Terror on the streets of London

There is an imminent rise of terror acts in the capital city of the United Kingdom, In the past 3 years, there have been 5 confirmed, 1 failed act and 1 suspected acts of terror. The latest of which surfaced today on 14th August at 8:15 a.m.

This sudden regularity of terror acts has shocked the city as before the year 2016, these attacks were not common place and happened once in about 3 years. So what is the reason for the shifting from having one terror act every three years to three per year? What could have caused this shift and what are it's implication?

The most widely exclaimed answer to these acts given by newspapers and politicians is the increasing violent nature of the far right or what is known as the "alt-right" movement. This movement is more than often associated with race-based and islamophobic acts and has been called the "scum at the end of the boot of the political right" by labour candidates.

However, this theory fails to hold up when we look at the intent behind the last five terror acts which happened in London only 2 seemed to have an islamophobic intent attached to it. So, the claims work better as a political tool rather than proof.

In this scenario, where it is not the far right hate groups who are responsible for the majority of terror acts another aspect of them becomes crystal clear.

It is absolutely not a shock that when terrorism is involved that a religious motive is involved and in this situation it is the radical Islam. It is an indisputable fact that the terror acts were heavily influenced by terrorist who had extremist views.

Moreover, what makes this situation even more interesting is that the entire thing can be traced back to 2016's mass immigration of Muslim community into Europe. This information becomes vital as along with refugees in genuine need for aid there is the transportation of extremists who follow a radical ideology. This is only magnified by the first major terror plot surfacing in 2016, which had serious ties with previous known Jihadist movement.

"The Muslim Migrant Invasion and The Collapse of Europe" This was a title which became extremely popular in the last 2 years all over Europe and with such evidence it starts to have some ground. But, the question then arises, Is it correct to dismiss an entire community based on the acts of a few? Is it morally correct to deny refuge to refugees to protect your domestic interest? Is an anti-immigration, anti-muslim UK on the rise not unlike its "alt -right"?

Only time will be able to answer these questions and the world waits to see if mass immigration and refugees prove good or bad for a country.
